About This Game
What to know before you dive in
Intro
Welcome to Telephone Pictionary — the drawing game where the room tells a story, one player at a time. The host starts it with a prompt, and every turn after that takes it somewhere new.
How This Game Works
Each round is one whole story. The host starts it by writing a short phrase. Then, one player at a time, the story gets passed along: the next player draws it, the player after that sees only that drawing and writes what happens next, the next draws THAT, and so on, until every player has both written and drawn. Nobody ever sees more than the one thing right before theirs. Whenever it isn't your turn, you can play a mini game, and the best mini game score of the round wins the host seat for the next one.
Scoring
When a round ends, its story is revealed from the first prompt to the last drawing, like a story, and everyone gives each prompt and drawing a thumbs up or a thumbs down (not your own), and everyone can see who voted which way. The author earns 100 points for every thumbs up. Thumbs down are just for the laughs and never cost anyone points.
Ready to Play
Ready to see where the story goes? Head back and start your game. Tip: in every round each player writes once and draws once, so 2 rounds is plenty with a big group.
