Intro

Clickbait: Spin Doctor is Clickbait with a comeback. Everyone writes a shocking headline and votes on the best, then everyone has to defend their own headline, whether it won or flopped. A great defense can rescue a loser. A weak one can sink the leader.

How This Game Works

1. Headline. The computer hands everyone the same dull topic. Write the most outrageous headline you can before the timer runs out.

2. Click. The headlines go up anonymously. Tap the one you'd actually click. You can't click your own.

3. Results. A quick look at how every headline landed, and who wrote what.

4. Defend. Whatever the votes said, you type a short defense of your own headline. Win them back, or hold your lead.

5. Swayed? Every headline comes up again with its defense. Give each one a thumbs up if it won you over, or a thumbs down if it didn't. You can't judge your own.

Scoring

You earn 100 points per click on your headline (plus a bonus for winning every click), then 100 for every thumbs up and minus 100 for every thumbs down on your defense. Your round score is the two added together, and it can go negative.
