Intro

Welcome to Catch the Snake — the party game where someone in the room is secretly answering a different question than everyone else. They don't want to get caught. Everyone else just wants to find them.

How This Game Works

Each round, every player privately learns their role. Most players are mice and get the same question. One or more players are snakes — they get a similar-but-different question instead, and won't know who else is a snake unless the room is large enough for more than one. Everyone writes an answer, and the snakes try their best to blend in. Once everyone has answered, the group votes on who they think is a snake — and the snakes vote too, so they don't look suspicious by sitting it out. Then the snakes are revealed.

Scoring

Guess correctly and you score points as a mouse. Successfully blend in and avoid detection, and the snake scores instead — the more mice you fool, the more you earn. Fool everyone, and you walk away with the biggest score of the round.
