Major Progress Across UI, Crews, and Core Systems

Core Interface Nearing Completion

The platform continues to come together in a big way, with the main user interface now sitting at roughly 90% completion. Core features like creating secure accounts, signing in and out, browsing games, loading game details, and joining lobbies—whether as a guest or a logged-in user—are all fully functional.

Member Tools Reaching Full Maturity

Member tools have also reached a solid level of maturity. Users can browse the member list, add or remove friends, block unwanted interactions, and report issues when needed. These systems form the backbone of the social experience, and they’re performing exactly as intended.

Crews System Added and Fully Functional

One of the biggest surprises in development has been the new Crews section. Originally unplanned, it has grown into a full-featured system where users can create crews, invite or remove members, and manage their group’s identity. It adds a layer of community and structure that wasn’t part of the early roadmap, but now feels essential.

New CMS Replaces Static News Page

Another major upgrade is the transformation of the old static news page into a fully functional mini content management system. This new setup allows for multiple categories of news—general updates, announcements, maintenance notices, bug reports, and more—all tied directly into the notification system. Visitors and users alike can now stay informed with accurate, timely updates.

Reflecting on Earlier Expectations

Our previous general news entry painted a more optimistic picture of how quickly certain systems would come together. In hindsight, it was a bit naive about the complexity ahead and made bolder claims than it should have. But that early uncertainty didn’t slow us down. If anything, it clarified just how challenging this project truly is—and we pushed forward anyway. The work has been difficult, but we never backed down simply because it was hard.

Immediate Next Steps

Looking ahead, the immediate focus will be on finishing the remaining static content pages and completing the full notification system. This next phase will be challenging, but it’s also one of the final major pieces needed before the platform can open its doors more widely.

Long-Term Roadmap

Longer-term goals include building out the actual games so they can begin syncing with leaderboards and the social feed. After that, the final major component will be implementing the membership payment system.

Steady Progress Toward Launch

There’s still a lot of work ahead, but the progress so far has been substantial. Each completed feature makes the next step easier, and the entire platform is steadily moving toward a fully realized, cohesive experience.
